These terms apply to talent-emu.com, run by TalentEmu in Stanthorpe, Queensland. Contact TalentEmu at careers@talent-emu.com. Using talent-emu.com or applying through it means you agree to these terms; if you disagree, please stop using talent-emu.com.
In these terms, "TalentEmu", "we" and "us" refer to the operator; "you" is any visitor; the "website" is talent-emu.com; an "employer" is the business that offers a role; and a "listing" is that role's description on talent-emu.com.
TalentEmu is a recruitment advertising and introduction service, not an employer. For any role on TalentEmu, the employer decides hiring, contracts, supervision, how the work is organised and pay. An application to TalentEmu is not a job offer and does not make you an employee of TalentEmu.
Before applying, go through the whole TalentEmu listing: duties, method of work, engagement, eligibility and conditions. Roles can fill or change during recruitment; when TalentEmu learns of this, the listing is updated or removed. If you spot an error, email careers@talent-emu.com and name the role.
When applying through TalentEmu, provide truthful details and do not apply on another person's behalf without their consent. Eligibility and right-to-work rules apply to every role listed on TalentEmu. The process is the form followed by a WhatsApp message to TalentEmu HR that you send yourself; email careers@talent-emu.com if WhatsApp is not an option. Employers on TalentEmu may request further information or an interview.
TalentEmu does not charge applicants at any point: there is no application, placement, admin or training charge and no deposit. TalentEmu is paid by the businesses that advertise. Nobody from TalentEmu will ask you to purchase crypto, add credit to an account, pay to access work or send money to receive wages. Please report any such request involving a TalentEmu role to careers@talent-emu.com.
Pay for a TalentEmu role is set by its employer and depends on that role's conditions. Any range mentioned by TalentEmu is a guide, not a guarantee of the upper end. Before saying yes to a role found through TalentEmu, get the employer to confirm in writing its legal name, your duties and engagement type, the pay rate or method, expected hours and when pay arrives. TalentEmu does not guarantee work, a minimum workload or income.
TalentEmu stands behind its own website content and ads, while employers answer for the information they give TalentEmu and their obligations as employers. Where an ad and talent-emu.com conflict on a material point, TalentEmu investigates and fixes the incorrect one. A broad disclaimer on the TalentEmu site never cancels a specific statement or your rights under law.
See the TalentEmu Privacy Policy. Information held by WhatsApp or an employer is handled under their policies, not TalentEmu's.
You must not impersonate anyone, submit false applications, use another person's details without permission, share harmful material or interfere with talent-emu.com.
Pages on talent-emu.com may be viewed and kept for personal job-seeking. Please ask TalentEmu before using its content in any other way. Images used by TalentEmu are licensed stock photos, not pictures of actual applicants or employers.
Buttons on talent-emu.com open those apps. TalentEmu does not control them.
TalentEmu cannot guarantee it, or that a role stays open while you apply. TalentEmu may change or take the website offline without notice.
No, not at TalentEmu. Nothing in the TalentEmu terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be changed.
Apart from those non-excludable rights, TalentEmu is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss connected with talent-emu.com. TalentEmu's liability for fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited, is unaffected.
TalentEmu fixes typing and technical mistakes on talent-emu.com as soon as it becomes aware of them.
If you breach these terms, for instance by applying with another person's details without consent, you are responsible for resulting loss that is reasonably foreseeable, unless TalentEmu caused it.
Delays or failures caused by matters outside TalentEmu's reasonable control, including hosting or messaging service outages, are not TalentEmu's responsibility.
To apply through TalentEmu you should be an adult based in Australia with work rights. Individual employers can add requirements, which TalentEmu shows in the listing or HR explains on WhatsApp. Where an application plainly does not meet the stated requirements, TalentEmu may not forward it, and you can ask TalentEmu for the reason.
Some roles include a short online training provided by the employer or arranged through TalentEmu. TalentEmu offers the training to help you understand the work, and applicants are never charged for it. Finishing the TalentEmu training does not guarantee an employer will offer you work, and the employer is still responsible for how its work is done.
Linking to the talent-emu.com home page is fine, provided the link does not imply a relationship with or endorsement by TalentEmu. TalentEmu has no control over external sites linking in or linked out, and is not responsible for them. Please tell TalentEmu at careers@talent-emu.com about any link that misdescribes TalentEmu or its roles so it can act on it.
Employers who list roles through TalentEmu must describe them honestly, follow Australian workplace laws, give written terms before work begins and must not request money from applicants. TalentEmu may remove any listing or employer that breaks these expectations, and you can report concerns to careers@talent-emu.com at any time.
If a court finds part of the TalentEmu terms invalid, that part drops out and the rest still applies. A delay by TalentEmu in enforcing a term is not a waiver.
